Open Day

Welcome to New Zealand’s leading and largest Science Faculty

Eleven of the University of Auckland’s Science subjects are ranked first in New Zealand, and six Science subjects rank in the top 100 worldwide (2022 QS World University Rankings).

It’s safe to say we’re proud of our reputation. But we’re much more than our rankings. At the Faculty of Science we’re excited to offer two undergraduate programmes, and a diverse range of subject areas: our flexible Bachelor of Science, with its wide variety of majors and specialisations, and our four-year Bachelor of Advanced Science (Honours). Your Science degree will equip you with the knowledge and skills demanded by today’s employers.

At Open Day we’ll introduce you to everything from Chemistry, Computer Science, Marine Science, Biology and Mathematics to Environment, Statistics, Physics, Exercise Science and Psychology. Visit our display stands where you can talk to our expert teaching and research staff, academic advisers and, best of all, some of our Science students. We’ll also have members from our Science Scholars and Tuākana programmes, and student clubs.

Join us – we’re looking forward to meeting you!
